Granuaile —
A bespoke management consultancy, supporting individuals and organisations to navigate change
For several years, Viv Bannigan built up Granuaile into a solid and sustainable business without any substantial branding or web presence, so when she decided to laser-focus the organisation’s strategy, she felt a new brand identity and digital approach was required to match her ambitions to take the organisation to new heights.
Named after Grace O’Malley, the 16th century figure from Irish folklore who met and impressed Queen Elizabeth I, both the organisation and its branding take cues from the naval nature of the original Granuaile’s life and from Viv’s personal passion and achievements in sailing.
The logotype uses a modern stencil style, reflecting the kind of stenciled print found on ships and cargo containers, while the stylised helm icon forms a G.
